What makes our creations unique
You may notice that no 2 creations are quite alike!
We scour thrift stores and resale boutiques collecting fabrics, linens, curtains, whatever speaks to us,
to then be reimagined for a truly unique headpiece.
Look closely and you may see upholstery fabric from a once-beloved chair, or the curtains from your grandmothers house!

Our History
Tickle Ye Fancy has been showing at faires for over 2 decades. Originally owned by Karen (aka Momma Bear).
Upon her first year in Florida, 2016, Genessis visited the Bay Area Renaissance Faire with her bestie Amy. Neither were strangers to faire, both having attended, worked at or owned booths for a couple of decades themselves. 

It was there that they met Karen and through the months to follow, they all became good friends. The following season, Genessis & Amy began working for Karen in the booth bringing their own creations to add to the inventory of wonderful head wear.

In 2019, Karen decided to step down, giving the ownership to Genessis and Amy, with the insistence by the other two that Karen stay on to help out and contribute as she would like.

Over this short time, the hat styles and headpieces have gained popularity beyond what the three of them could have dreamed. Their combined talents, creativity and friendship show in each piece of art they create.
